I love Dee Dee's friends Lee Lee and Mee Mee, but out of Dee Dee, Lee Lee and Mee Mee, I like Lee Lee most, for she is my favorite female Dexter's Laboratory character, while Jake Sully from James Cameron's AVATAR is my main blue man!
Anyway AsineVenisa, here is my logo and poster designs that I did for a dream project of mine...
That dream project of mine will be called "Dexter's Odyssey", which I intend to be a theatrical big screen mutli-part (or maybe twelve-part) epic tale based on and/or inspired by the 1990's Cartoon Network Animated TV shows Dexter's Laboratory and/or The Powerpuff Girls which is to contain some slight DNA from, as well as characters from both cartoon shows.
And it may or may not be a mix of animation, visual effects (using technologies and techniques both old and new) and/or live action footage (half of all live action of which is to be photographed in Panavision widescreen, and the other half of all live action which is to be photographed in IMAX, just like in The Dark Knight and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol) and to be exact, to bring the Dexter's Lab and/or Powerpuff Girls characters to life on the big screen, it would mainly utilize traditonal 2D hand drawn animation (and a character design and animation art graphic style that is more faithful to especially the art style used in the first seasons of Dexter's Lab and the Ego Trip (which represents Genndy Tartakovsky's involvement with the show), a technique that I believe will work best in bringing the Dexter's Lab and/or PPG characters included in Dexter's Odyssey to life on the big screen.
The two main central lead characters in Dexter's Odyssey are going to be Dexter as well as Lee Lee, the Asian friend of his annoying, playful older sister Dee Dee, and Dexter's Odyssey itself would be mainly the exotic, even sprawling epic tale of Dexter and Lee Lee's friendship (or companionship) as Dexter, his sister Dee Dee, and her two friends Lee Lee and Mee Mee become involved in great epic heroic deeds that determine the course of their societies' fate, while they travel through distant, exotic, faraway lands in a fantasy world where dinosaurs still roamed the land, and fire-breathing dragons are the top aerial predators.
According to an ancient prophecy, Dee Dee's Asian friend Lee Lee is destined to unite the Free Lands of her world against the evil, genocidal Dark Lord, Mandark, and his forces, and was aided on her quest to do so by Dexter, his sister Dee Dee, and Dee Dee's black friend Mee Mee.
The keen fan of Dexter's Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls or Classic Cartoon Network will recognize strands of the DNA of such things, but Dexter's Odyssey will also contain a grand, new mythology that will not only be shaped by ancient myths and legends from all around the world, but will also be informed by science, history, etc.
Dexter's Odyssey is going to be great, awesome, good, cool, and even epic, or would it?
And based on the logo and poster design for Dexter's Odyssey, what did it look like to you, especially in terms of lettering, style, look, and appearance and what did it remind you of? Did it look ancient or exotic or what?
